Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck aren’t letting their rumored marital woes affect their latest business venture together.

This Thursday, the first peak of the upcoming sports biopic Unstoppable was released. Despite them reportedly living in separate homes, and navigating their impending divorce, the two are still working together on the Amazon MGM Studios project. ‘

Set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, Unstoppable delves into the real-life story of wrestler Anthony Robles, a 2011 NCAA individual national champion who was born with one leg.

Jennifer will be portraying Anthony’s mom Judy, and When They See Us star Jharrel Jerome will star as Anthony. Also included in the cast is Bobby Cannavale as Anthony’s dad, Michael Peña and Don Cheadle.

Captured in one of the first-look snaps that Jenny from the Block posted on her Instagram Story was her character Rudy wrapping her arm around Jharrel's character Anthony and kissing him on the head. Tagged in the Instagram Story the Get Right singer posted was Amazon MGM Studios and producer Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas. However, neither the Air star nor his and Matt’s production company was mentioned.

“[Judy should be portrayed by] somebody who’s lived a life, and I felt like Jennifer was one of the few actresses who could play the part,” William told the news outlet. “I think that she was right for it, and it was also serendipity that he happened to be married to the person we sort of wanted all along anyway.

Unstoppable will be the first film the pair have collaborated on together since getting married in 2022. Before Unstoppable, the couple worked together on Jennifer’s This Is Me…Now: A Love Story musical film that was released earlier this year.

Much has changed between Jen and Ben since when they filmed This Is Me…Now: A Love Story musical, namely that the romantic love they have for each other has nearly dried up. They have been rumored to be having marital problems for months. As the pair is reportedly on the brink of breaking up, the Lets Get Loud songstress is claimed to be struggling to come to terms with that she’s going to have another failed marriage.
