According to a Bad Bunny fan account post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Puerto Rican star "refused to give up the rights to Kanye West." He also did not give Ye permission to release the song. Ye fans were able to hear the snippet on the day of the release which was only available exclusively on the Yeezy website until midnight eastern time. Bad Bunny's verse was later replaced by Mexican artist Peso Pluma.

Fans of the Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va Pasar Mañana star expressed their happiness that his verse was pulled. One person wrote: "Bad Bunny is at such a high level that he doesn't need to collaborate with Kanye to be at the top of the charts. Although it would have also been nice to see that collaboration. No one cares about peso pluma." Another person wrote: "Bad Bunny is at such a high level that he doesn't need to collaborate with Kanye to be at the top of the charts." A third person wrote: "W Bunny, he's too good to be on that s----- album."

This was not the first time Ye released music without reportedly clearing it with artist. The rapper was sued by group Artist Revenue Advocates (ARA) who stated in documents that Ye used a track created by musicians Khalil Abdul-Rahman, Sam Barsh, Dan Seeff and Josh Mease in the songs Hurricane featuring The Weeknd and Lil Baby and Moon without permission.
