Reporter on Brazil plane day before it crashed filmed 'suffering' and 'terrible conditions'

A Brazilian reporter took to Instagram after she realized the horrifically hot and 'terrible' flight she took the day before was on the same Voepass plane that fatally crashed near São Paulo in Brazil in a sickening fireball seen from miles around .

Writing on social media, Brazilian reporter Daniela Arbex, said: "Folks, as incredible as it sounds, yesterday I flew for the third time in a Voepass plane. I filmed people suffering badly during the flight because of the heat inside the plane without air conditioning. It was terrible."

Arbex added that she had actually taken the same plane before, and the conditions were similarly terrible, causing her to try and avoid taking this plane when possible.

Her post featured a video showing the passenger in front of her, sitting with no shirt on. Others can be seen in the background fiddling with the air, fanning themselves, or holding their heads. Some were slumped over in their seats, panting.

"I was very outraged, because for the third time the company aircraft had problems in both the stretch of SP and the connection to Mines. Me and other passengers questioned the aircraft. The answer was "air didn't work on ground, only in air" which didn't. Last time, the excuse was that the air needed maintenance," added Arbex.

"We still do not know what prompted the fall of a model identical to the one I flew yesterday. But how does an aircraft operate in these conditions?" Arbex wrote before expressing her grief over the lives lost in the crash.

Horrifying footage captured on phones shows the moment a massive jet appears to stall in the air before plummeting to the ground.

Stunned onlookers can be heard screaming as the footage ends with fire and black smoke. According to local reports, the plane was almost full with some 62 people on board .

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva told a press conference there were no survivors: “First, I have to bring you some very bad news. I would like everyone to stand up and observe a minute of silence. A plane has just crashed in the city of Vinhedo, in São Paulo, with 58 passengers and 4 crew members, and it appears that everyone died. So, I would like to ask for a minute of silence for the victims.”

The flight took off from Cascavel at 11:50 a.m. and was due to touch down in Sao Paulo at 1:40 p.m.

The airline said in a statement, "The aircraft took off from Cascavel-PR bound for Guarulhos Airport, with 58 passengers and four crew members on board. VOEPASS has taken all measures to support those involved.

"There is still no confirmation of how the accident occurred or the current situation of the people on board. The Company is providing support via telephone at 0800 9419712, available 24 hours a day, providing information to all its passengers, family members and employees."

Ana Lúcia, a dog groomer who lives near the crash site, told local news outlet g1 she was afraid the plane would hit her house. "Desperate and scary, because I've never seen a scene like that in my life," she said.

The crash reportedly happened at around 2 p.m. local time. Fire crews raced to the scene and immediately began battling the horror blaze, bringing it under control. The fire has already been controlled, and no houses were damaged.
