Mariah Carey has sparked concern among her fans as she seemed to be "on the brink" of tears during her latest performance .

The 55-year-old singer has been gracing the stage at the Dolby Live theater in Las Vegas since last month for the third leg of her latest residency, the Celebration of Mimi. The show is set to wrap up at the venue tonight, before embarking on its fourth leg next year .

A clip from her recent show was uploaded to YouTube, showing Mariah belting out Make It Happen to the audience. At one point, she seemed to become emotional on stage.

During the performance, Mariah appeared to take a moment to gather herself, leading viewers to speculate that she was on the brink of tears. Fans flocked to the comments to share their thoughts.

One person said: "Something is wrong, I don't know what it is. But something is wrong. You have all my support Mariah." Another viewer commented: "Something is bothering her. She's literally on the verge of just melting down in tears."

A third fan expressed: "Bless her heart....whatever she's going through, I hope she finds peace." While another person admitted: "I was literally crying while watching this video, whatever she is going through God may help her to find a way."

Someone else commented, "Poor Mariah, seeing her be somewhat on the verge of tears makes me so sad, I hate seeing her like this." Another fan expressed their concern: "This is truly heartbreaking. You can see she's on the verge of crying when the 'don't let go, don't ever ever let go' part of the song comes in."

One fan suggested a different approach for the star: "Unpopular opinion: She should take some time, whatever's needed, off the public eye and performing, music, everything. Just like Adele does between albums. Focus on healing and come back when the time is right. I think whatever's she's going through + having to be out there for the fans is not doing her well. Just my opinion guys. Love her and wish her well always."

Despite the speculation, Mariah has not slowed down, continuing with her performances at her Las Vegas residency. Moreover, tickets for her upcoming holiday tour, Christmas Time, are now available following the announcement on August 2.

Mariah's upcoming tour, touted as her "biggest holiday tour to date" is set to span across various US cities from November 6 to December 17. The singer will grace the stages of 20 cities including Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Boston.
