Sabrina Carpenter was left stunned and had to make a swift exit from the stage after a rogue firework came too close for comfort during her performance.

The 25-year-old Espresso songstress, who's been captivating audiences with her glittery black ensemble, experienced a close call with the pyrotechnics while performing at a music festival in San Francisco's iconic Golden Gate Park. Currently, in a relationship with Irish actor Barry Keoghan, 31, Sabrina found herself in harm's way when she ventured too near the fireworks set up for her show.

Even as her band played on, the singer, who is gearing up for her first major UK tour next March, quickly left the stage with her dancers in tow. Thankfully, she wasn't hurt.

Fans took to Twitter to express their concern and amusement: "Not the fireworks burning sabrina and her running off im crying," one fan tweeted over the weekend. Another chimed in with, "Sabrina was running for her life from the fireworks hahaha," while a third expressed worry, "Sabrina Carpenter almost got hit by fireworks omfg is she ok?"

While Sabrina hasn't spoken about the firework scare, she appears to be fine, having updated her Instagram with pictures from the event earlier today. Sharing moments of her dancing on stage, Sabrina expressed her gratitude to her followers: "headlined @outsidelands :o thank you to everyone who came. special thank you to the angel that is @spaceykacey for coming out to sing and dance to Nancy Sinatra with me :') and thank you to my whole team and crew. all the talented people who made this show happen on and off stage, I love you all so much."

The former Disney sensation Sabrina Carpenter recently spilled the tea on her bond with pop mogul Taylor Swift, despite raising eyebrows by joining forces with Kim Kardashian for a SKIMS shoot. Despite Taylor's infamous feud with Kim, Sabrina, who has opened for Taylor on The Eras Tour, assured fans that their friendship is solid.

Opening up about Taylor's reaction to her SKIMS stint, Sabrina revealed to Variety: "She's just such a gangster with all of it. No matter what people are saying, everything that I've ever seen her tackle, she's done so with grace. The posts about me having to 'ask for her permission'-no. She's one of my best, best friends, and we grab dinner or text and catch up like you would with your best friend.."

Sabrina also gushed about the influence of her star-studded circle, including Taylor, on her creative process: "It's so cool for me to get a perspective on this whole process from her and the community of artists that I feel I'm close to-to get advice from them on stuff that you can't just ask the internet. We're always playing each other our [music], and whenever I start to think, 'Maybe I'll get on Twitter and say something about this,' I'm always like, 'Maybe I'll write a song instead."
