Flavor Flav responds as Jordan Chiles is ordered to return Olympic bronze medal

Flavor Flav has a gift for Jordan Chiles amid her medal troubles.

He has become one of two rappers who are the official mascots of the US Olympic team. Flavor Flav and Snoop Dogg attended the 2024 Paris Olympics decked out in patriotic colors.

The rapper has helped out various Olympians - like helping fund the women's water polo team and teaming up with Alexis Ohanian to pay Veronica Farley's rent . Now his latest act of kindness is extended to gymnast Jordan Chiles.

On Saturday, the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) decided to strip Jordan of her floor exercise Bronze medal. Jordan originally came in fifth, scoring 13.666 before her coach Cecile Landi appealed the decision.

The judges added 0.1 to Jordan's score, rocketing her to third place and moving Romanian gymnast Ana Barbosu to fourth. But this weekend, the CAS ruled that Cecile's appeal came four seconds too late in order to count, so Ana is now the "real" bronze medal winner.

Since then, USA Gymnastics (USAG) is appealing the court's decision, claiming they have new evidence. On Sunday they wrote: "USA Gymnastics on Sunday formally submitted a letter and video evidence to the Court of Arbitration for sports, conclusively establishing that Head Coach Cecile Landi’s request to file an inquiry was submitted 47 seconds after the publishing of the score, within the 1-minute deadline required by FIG rule."

Flavor Flav took to X, formally known as Twitter, with a message for Jordan. "Ayyy YOOOO @ChilesJordan,,, imma make you a BRONZE CLOCK NECKLACE,,, and that’s something NO ONE else has,!!! Hit me up my girl,,, I gotchu,!!!"

The rapper is known for wearing huge clock necklaces, and his generosity extended across Olympic sports. After he saw Victoria Farley tweeted that she didn't have enough money to pay her rent, the day before the Olympics were set to start, Flavor Flav made sure she didn't have to worry.

"I gotchu...DM me and I’ll send payment TODAY so you don’t have to worry bout it TOMORROW...and imma be rooting for ya tomorrow LETZ GO!!!" he wrote.
