After a terror plot against Taylor Swift 's the Eras Tour was foiled, security for London's Wembley Stadium is on high alert.

Fans will no longer be allowed to hang out outside of the venue if they are not ticketed. Event organizers wrote in a statement: "To support with the safe entry and exit of everyone within the stadium, no one is allowed to stand outside any entrance or on the Olympic Steps at the front of the stadium. Non ticket holders will be moved on."

Swifties have been gathering outside of the sold out venues across the globe since the tour first kicked off on March 17, 2023 at Glendale, A.Z. as they hoped to snag last minute tickets and resolved to singing their hearts out. The tradition continued throughout the tour, building up to the point that 50,000 fans piled onto a hillside in Munich... in addition to those already inside the venue.

However, after a terrorist attack was planned for the Vienna shows, authorities are now working diligently to prevent to ensure the utmost safety for concertgoers for the pop star's next stint of shows.

Plenty of venues across the United States put out advisory warnings ahead of the tour dates which fans ignored. In New Jersey, during Taylor's Met Life Stadium shows, public transit even claimed fans must need a concert ticket to board. However, fans found loopholes and ways around the guidelines and, outside, there were still thousands of hopeful Swifties who were not vacated from the property.

How Wembley Stadium plans to enforce the plan has yet to be disclosed. Other measures that the venue will be taking were previously leaked by a fan. An individual on X, formerly known as Twitter, who claims to "work for an agency that staffs Wembley Stadium," leaked a notice which specifies that there will be increased security personnel, bag checks, surveillance, and more.

According to Sky News , the mayor of London said: "I’m sure Vienna has got its own reasons to cancel the Taylor Swift concerts, we’re going to carry on, working closely with police [and] ensuring that the Taylor Swift concerts can take place in London safely.”
