50 Cent got a stamp of approval from the Shreveport Chief of Police after he had a successful comedy and musical festival that was crime-free despite being held in a dangerous city.

The In Da Club rapper had beloved comedians Dave Chappelle, Katt Williams , Andrew Schulz, Matt Rife, Bill Bellamy, and other comedians for Humor & Harmony, a four-day event that started last Thursday. Artists such as DaBaby, Master P, A Boogie, Moneybagg Yo, Muni Long, as well as 50 Cent plus more, provided the musical entertainment for the festival.

Given that Shreveport has been plagued with much crime, the city’s cops were preparing for any incidents that might arise because of the hefty size crowds who came out to the event.

Luckily for the Shreveport Police Department, nothing popped off for the whole duration of Humor & Harmony. Officials were thankful to 50 Cent for putting on such a peaceful event, and providing security. Shreveport Police Chief Wayne Smith revealed to TMZ that the East Coast rhymer and his team had a hand in “in keeping the event safe with good planning, resources and masterful execution,” per the news outlet.

Wayne also told TMZ that he hadn’t “seen this type of positive activity downtown since the late '80s!" The police chief was so thankful to 50 Cent that he contacted him after the festival to “express his gratitude,” per TMZ.

Humor & Harmony was a charity event, which donated all of the proceeds to 50 Cent’s G-Unity Foundation.

50 Cent’s event is the only thing that he’s been getting praise for as of now. Earlier this year, he revealed that for 2024 he was giving up sex for the next 12 months. In a post he shared online in January, the chart-topping artist was pictured in a three-piece suit and puffing on a cigar.

Captioning the snaps, 50 Cent wrote: "My new idea is so big, I don’t have time to be distracted I’m practicing abstinence, I have been meditating and focusing on my goals. I hope this New Year helps you excel to the next level," he then tagged two of the liquor brands that he owns - Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi (The KINGS Path).

His fans had a lot to say about his pist, with one writing: "Stay focused brother. We rooting for you out here." A second added: "A King. See this is why I respect you so much and want you for myself. The man of my dreams. Stay focused love."

A third person then said: "I need a husband like 50 Cent." While a fourth added: "Agreed King. I am also abstaining from intimacy and focusing on me. I feel better. I quit smoking and drinking. It's go time."
