'Demanding' Meghan Markle 'has lost 19 staff' confirming 'Duchess of Difficult' claims

Meghan Markle has been said to be a "demanding employer" which has reportedly led to her losing "19 staff members" confirming the age-old "Duchess of Difficult" claims.

As Prince Harry's Chief of Staff Josh Kettler made the shock decision to quit just a few days ago - after less than three months on the job - the Sussexes have faced ongoing accusations they are demanding employers to work for. Since Meghan and Harry tied the knot back in 2018, royal expert Tom Quinn claims the pair have already lost 19 members of their staff, something he believes is a "blow to the Royal couple’s prestige."

And according to the royal expert, one of the 19 employees that have quit include one former staffer who worked for the couple during their time at Kensington Palace. She claimed her job turned into "nothing more than expectation management" and that however much she did for the royal couple "was never enough."

After Kettler's unexpected decision to quit, Quinn told The Mirror: "No one has ever denied that Meghan, even more than Harry, is a demanding employer but losing so many staff in such a short time really does confirm the old criticism of Meghan as the Duchess of Difficult."

He continued: "Josh Kettler’s resignation will make the tour of Columbia more difficult because he was a key figure in organising the tour. But with Meghan‘s Internet brand and the couple’s various film production projects in trouble, there is no doubt the Sussexes are hoping the tour will still put them back in the world spotlight."

This comes as the Sussexes are preparing for their second international tour of the year as they jet off to Columbia. Meghan and Harry touched down in the country after receiving an invitation from the country's vice president, Francia Márquez. This excursion comes after the pair's trip three months ago to Nigeria during which Meghan reconnected with her African heritage.

And as the pair head off on their second tour in the same year, Quinn went on to predict: "And with this in mind they will try to organize more tours in future – playing royal is now seen by the couple as their safety net. When all else fails they can at least play at being real royals." He brutally added: "As the couple have realized playing royal is so much easier than making your way in the world of business and entertainment."
