Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have announced their split after five years together , leaving fans shocked. And some believe Molly-Mae dropped a hint about the break-up on social media a week ago.

The reality stars found love on dating show Love Island - and welcomed their daughter Bambi in January last year. Just six months later, Tommy, 25, popped the question to Molly-Mae , also 25, during an Ibiza holiday. Sadly, in a heart-breaking Instagram post today (Wednesday, August 14), Molly-Mae confirmed they have split.

However, just one week ago Molly-Mae spoke of a "break" of sorts in a different Instagram post, potentially hinting at today's news.

On August 7 she shared two photos of herself at a cafe with the caption: "Had an accidental break from posting. Back now." Her last post before that one came three weeks ago, and marked the anniversary of the day Tommy proposed.

Molly-Mae said in her statement today: "I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end. I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us, there would be no her, she will always be my priority."

The star has not revealed the reason behind the breakup - but this hasn't stopped her fans from sharing their surprise and support over the decision. Commenting on her split from Tommy, one devastated follower said: "OMG Tommy and Molly have split up! And there's me waiting for their wedding to take place next year."

Another user added: "Being a single mum myself who is now marrying her perfect match. Love will find you again. Thinking of you and wishing you and your gorgeous daughter only the best." A third fan said: "I don't believe in love anymore."

A third added: "We love you, Molly. Sending so much love and hugs." A final follower said: "This is why it's so important for women to have their independence and financial stability. You've got this Molly, you'll be okay."
