Meghan Markle has given fans a sneak peek at her Colombia tour wardrobe, and it's as stylish as expected.

Upon landing in Bogota, the South American capital, with Prince Harry , the Duchess of Sussex was spotted in a chic navy 'summer suit' by Veronica Beard, one of her go-to designers. The outfit, which exuded a business-ready vibe, featured a sleeveless jacket cinched at the waist and ankle-skimming cigarette trousers. Both pieces are available in both navy and red.

The top, priced at $766.50, is described on the Veronica Beard website as a "'fashion-forward take on the vest."

It boasts a "collared halter silhouette while tortoiseshell buttons down the centre and on the pockets offer decorative touches."

The matching trousers are priced at £350. Meghan completed her look with a £3,650 white Loro Piana handbag and appeared to be sporting her £15,000 Lorraine Schwartz "Against Evil Eye" bracelet.

Body language expert Judi James recently told the Mirror that Meghan Markle appeared to be "in her element" and exuded confidence during her recent outing with Prince Harry in Bogota. She explained, "Meghan's 'Hey, I'm here! ' pose, facial expression and styling put her in full, confident A-lister mode here. Her eye expression registers a level of excitement, with her symmetric smile looking like a nod to a more regal approach, and her way of holding herself is celebrity-infused 'special' and far from casual, relatable and down-to-earth."

"She looks totally in her element, almost as though this is a moment she has been waiting for all her life. Her shoulders are splayed and her elbows tucked into her torso as she carries her large designer bag in one hand and allows her royal husband to tow her along with the other."

During their first official engagement of the day, the Sussexes visited the residence of Vice President Francia Marquez. They enjoyed coffee, tea, and traditional pan de bono (Colombian cheese bread), and exchanged welcome gifts.

The Duke and Duchess spent half an hour at the residence, during which Ms Marquez expressed her gratitude for their visit. She also shared her belief that she and the Sussexes share common ideals and goals, particularly in advocating for a safer digital future and improved mental health landscape for children and the world at large.

During their breakfast meeting, Vice-President Marquez expressed her admiration for Prince Harry's mother, Princess Diana, to the Royal couple. Meghan, donned in a navy Veronica Beard summer suit, and Harry, in a suit, then visited a local children's school, Colegio Cultura Popular, in Bogota.

They were given a tour and informational session by the institution's head, Leonel Umana Parra, and student Jose David.

A massive security operation was in place outside the school, including armed soldiers, motorbike officers, and sharp-suited security guards. Later in the day, they are set to enjoy a theatre performance as well as a music and dance show at the Plaza del Carnaval y la Cultura in San Juan de Pasto.

After the cultural event, the couple will attend an internet safety summit. The Responsible Digital Future conference is divided into three parts. It will feature a panel led by youth and social leaders discussing their experiences with online harm. This will be followed by a panel on the current tech landscape and tech accountability, and finally, an informative session on the future of responsible tech.

Vice President Marquez invited the couple to Colombia. She held a press conference just hours before the Sussexes landed in the country.

She explained that she was inspired to invite Harry and Meghan after watching their Netflix docu-series, where they criticized their treatment during their time in the Royal Family.

She detailed: "I saw the Netflix series about their life, their story and that moved me and motivated me to say that this is a woman who deserves to come to our country and tell her story and her exchange will undoubtedly be an empowerment to so many women in the world."

In her press briefing, she also touched on Princess Diana's planned visit to Colombia before her untimely death in 1997, saying: "I think that Prince Harry being here today after that dream of his mum's of visiting this country is an opportunity to show the best of our nation, to show who Colombians are. We are people who in the midst of adversities do everything possible to give the best of ourselves."
