King Charles 'fires Prince Andrew's ten-man private security team'

King Charles has reportedly fired the private security team stationed at Prince Andrew's home in a rumored bid to force him out of his £30million mansion.

After Prince Andrew reportedly refused to move out of the Royal Lodge, a 30-room mansion where he lives with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, and was stripped of his £3-million-a-year security team after he was named in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal , an insider claimed that the Royal Family is now pushing him out.

Since his official security team was removed in 2022, after being summoned to Windsor Castle in January 2022 and relieved of his royal duties by the late Queen, King Charles has funded a private legion to protect Prince Andrew's home.

But now it has claimed that the team was dismissed and told they were "no longer needed" from autumn onwards.

A palace 'insider' claimed to The Sun on Sunday , "Everyone is speculating this means the Duke will have to leave the Royal Lodge because what other reason could there be to take his security away?" Adding, "It isn't a secret that the King wants him out."

The Mirror has contacted the Palace for comment.

Earlier this year, The Sun reported that Andrew and Ferguson turned down the opportunity to relocate to the nearby Frogmore Cottage, where Harry and Meghan used to live before their dramatic move to the States.

Insiders close to the Duke claim his "cast iron" 75-year lease on the Lodge gives him no incentive to vacate the residence he's called home for two decades.

Royal insiders maintain that Andrew "remains the King's brother" and is still present at family gatherings, although his days of public service are over.

In recent months, Andrew allegedly attempted to persuade the Home Office to restore his publicly funded security detail. Though he has been 'stripped' of his duties, he led the Royal Family into services honoring the late King of Greece in February - to the fury of his pedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein ’s victims.

The prince’s high-profile appearance was described by one victim of his late sex offender pal as "salt into a wound that has never been allowed to heal."

Prince Andrew was accused of sexual assault by Virginia Giuffre, a former Epstein victim. The Duke settled the case with Ms Giuffre for a substantial sum, avoiding a court battle, and continues to deny any misconduct.
