Gypsy Rose paternity test chaos continues as ex opts to delay DNA test

Gypsy Rose 's paternity test drama has been faced with another setback as her ex Ryan Anderson postpones the DNA test .

TMZ reports that the ex-couple plans to wait until after Gypsy's baby daughter is born for the testing. The 32-year-old from Louisiana recently announced she's expecting her first child with her boyfriend Ken Urker following her split from Ryan Anderson.

Ryan and Gypsy have opted to delay the DNA test, considering it "easier and cheaper to wait," according to the news outlet. A paternity test before birth can cost between $500 and $2,000 , whereas a post-birth test costs between $150 and $200, the news article states.

Gypsy revealed recently that she is going to have a baby girl, as she shared the exciting news with her followers on social media. She said: "We're so thankful for our friends, neighbors, and families who came to our party today! We also want to thank ya'll for your love and support!"

The social media star posted a photo of an ultrasound to Instagram, leaving fans thrilled. "We are proud to announce we are expecting our first child in January 2025," she captioned the post at the time.

Despite the good news, Gypsy's facing issues with her pregnancy due to Louisiana law. She says her boyfriend Ken is the father, but if she has the baby before her divorce is finalised, her ex Ryan will be listed as the father on the birth certificate. The only way to change that would be with a paternity test showing Ken's the dad.

The soon-to-be mom previously cleared up the timing of her pregnancy. She said: "Left Ryan March 23rd, had a period April 17th." She continued: "Made love with Ken and only him April 27, 28, 29, 30, conceived on May 4th and positive test on May 24th. KEN IS THE FATHER." Despite comments from fans.

Gypsy briefly married Ryan Anderson after being released from jail, but the marriage quickly ended. Earlier this year, following their split, Gypsy spoke about reconnecting with Ken.

She told PEOPLE: "Ken and I reconnected as friends. It wasn't a case of jumping out of a marriage and immediately starting a relationship. We had maintained a friendship for a long time. He was in a relationship, I was with Ryan, so we were leading separate lives and just wished each other the best.
