Barry Keoghan shared a glimpse into fatherhood after reports of his relationship with Sabrina Carpenter going downhill.
The actor posted a selfie with his two-year-old son Brando on Instagram on Sunday, August 18. Brando was seen playing with his toys on a table, with a pacifier on his mouth. Both Barry and his son showed off their blue eyes and rosy cheeks, while looking into the camera. Although they are father and son, Brando has blonde locks while Barry has brown. Barry shares Brando with his ex-girlfriend, Alyson Sandro.
He captioned the post: "He’s more of a charmer than i am. Our wee Brando."

People in the comments were gushing over the adorable photo. One person wrote: "He is such a doll! Proud papa right there!!" Another person wrote: "Hes got daddy’s eyes I see." A third person wrote: "Finally! Oh he’s so cute and he looks so much like his daddy." A fourth wrote: "lil buddy’s got his father’s eyes."
Although people were praising Barry for giving fans a glimpse into fatherhood, others found it odd that this comes right after there have been rumors of Sabrina and him being over. An insider told The Sun : "Barry acts like an idiot when he is drunk and Sabrina was getting increasingly frustrated. He has always been a party animal and Sabrina was fed up with his antics. She is soaring in the charts and is putting herself first as she gears up for her tour next month."
Given the new allegations of drinking, some lyrics from her hit single, Please Please Please, became suspicious and seem to be a hit at Barry. She sings: “Whatever devil’s inside you don’t let him out tonight. I tell them it’s just your culture and everyone rolls their eyes. Yeah I know.”
Sabrina sparked rumors that she and Barry had broken up after fans spotted clues in the Please Please Please music video. In response to the speculation, Sabrina said, "I write songs about exactly how I feel, so I suppose it’s not surprising that people are interested in who or what those songs are about. It’s part of the job.”
The two went public about their relationship at the 2024 MET Gala. Since going public, they were not afraid to flaunt their love. Barry even supported Sabrina during her Coachella performance and was caught in the front row and waving to the singer.
