Love Island USA contestants tease 'messy' and 'dramatic' reunion will include 'revenge'

Love Island USA contestants have teased a "messy" and "dramatic" reunion episode filled with "revenge" after one of the most-watched and dramatic seasons to date.

As fans eagerly await the season six reunion special, fan favorite stars from the season have confirmed it's going to be just as explosive and over-the-top as to be expected. Every year during the reunion episode the former contestants of the reality show come together to dish on which couples are still together, whether love is still on the cards of them, and if any of the former dumped Islanders have been secretly seeing each other outside of the villa.

Last week all of the islanders from the 2024 season joined host Ariana Madix in New York City where they filmed the pre-recorded episode. And after filming wrapped, former stars Kaylor, Rob, Liv, Nicole, Kordell, and Kenny gave a sneak peek preview to E! News on what viewers can expect.

When asked to describe the reunion special in one word Kaylor, who has been entangled in break-up rumors with her boyfriend Aaron, responded: "Messy." Rob, who found romance with six different women throughout the season, simply described the episode as "dramatic."

Liv, who was dumped from the island without finding love but found many strong female friendships, described the episode as "intense." Nicole, who left the villa after confessing her love for Kendall, briefly paused before laughing and called the reunion "insane." Kenny, who who was in the final four couples with JaNa, said: "I feel like....revenge." And last up was the final winner of the season Kordell who raised his eyebrows and nodded his head while he said: "Interesting. Interesting. Very, interesting."

After seeing the former contestants give their takes on the reunion, ran to the comments as they shared their excitement over the upcoming special. One fan commented: "My boy Rob said DRAMATIC ! I will be tuned in." While another joked: "Pretty sure Rob said traumatic." And someone else chimed in: "Kordell literally just makes me laugh every time he opens his mouth. He is so unintentionally hilarious." While someone else added: "Revenge lmaoooo i didn’t know Kenny was so funny."

The Love Island USA Season 6 reunion special will stream on Peacock Monday, Aug. 19 at 9 p.m. ET.
