Brad Pitt 'visits George Clooney in Italy' as daughter Shiloh drops famous last name

Brad Pitt has jetted off to Italy to meet up with his famous friend George Clooney amid his daughter's name change drama, according to reports .

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, who Brad shares with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie , has now been granted her name change request which allows her to legally drop Pitt from her full name which is Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt. A source has claimed Brad was at the airport as the name change was made official.

The actor, 60, was spotted at Linate Airport as he arrived in Milan via private jet. Brad was overheard telling a private greeter he was "headed to Lake Como to visit Clooney and his wife, Amal ."

Speaking to Page Six, the source said Brad was traveling without his girlfriend Ines de Ramon. They said he "wore a beige bucket hat, aviator glasses, a navy, casual jacket and blue jeans and sneakers."

Brad was surrounded by a team of security guards as he "rushed through passport control", according to the source. They also claimed he "practically jogged past bystanders who had gathered to see him".

A black Mercedes wagon is believed to have been waiting to pick Brad up at the airport. The trip comes after his daughter Shiloh was granted her name change request without a formal hearing.

Shiloh filed to change her name three days after she turned 18 back in May. A hearing had been delayed at the end of July due to the court being unable to complete a background check.

Shiloh took out an ad in the Los Angeles Times last month to announce she was getting rid of her father's last name. According to California law, in order for a judge to decide to grant a name change, the person has to have the forms published in a newspaper.

Two of Brad's other children have also dropped his last name. His daughter Vivienne was simply listed as Vivienne Jolie in the playbill for the Broadway musical adaptation of The Outsiders, while Zahara introduced herself as Zahara Marley Jolie during her induction at college.
