One ex-friend expressed their disbelief over the couple's comments, saying: "I can't believe he'd stoop so low." After stepping back from the Royal Family in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made shocking allegations about their life within the British monarchy.

In the explosive book, the Duke of Sussex detailed an explosive row he had with his brother Prince William, during which the Prince of Wales allegedly called Harry's wife "difficult", "rude" and "abrasive". Harry claims his brother then "grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor".
Those who were once close to Harry have now spoken out ahead of his 40th birthday next month. Speaking to The Times , several former friends didn't hold back.
One remarked: "I can't believe he'd stoop so low. It's outrageously disloyal. Oprah, Netflix and then the book? Three strikes and you're out."

Another commented on Harry's state of mind, saying: "He's an angry boy. Things haven't turned out how he wanted. I think he misses being over here [in Britain] desperately and wants to be admired more."
Meghan and Harry have lost touch with a lot of their friends over the years. The pair were once close friends with the likes of George Clooney and Victoria Beckham, but they've seemed to have developed frostier relationships in recent years.
PR expert Ronn Torossian told The Express : "It's clear that several of Meghan's high-profile friendships have cooled over the past few years. Meghan herself indirectly highlighted this recently when she gifted a limited batch of her American Riviera Orchard Jams."
Meghan's close friends including Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry didn't publicly post about her new product, leaving many to speculate they had fallen out. Torossian added: "The lack of public support or the lack of gifting, would speak to the cooling of these relationships and the shrinking of her Hollywood circle."
