General Hospital fans say Joss and Trina 'both love criminals' after showdown over Ava

Trina and Joss had an intense exchange on General Hospital.

As Trina and Joss talked about Ava and Kristina, things went south fast. Trina is friends with Ava and also works with Ava at her art gallery. Trina, in response to Joss' accusation about Ava pushing Kristina and killing her baby, said that Ava deserves her day in court before assumptions and accusations are made. Joss subtly expressed her doubt over Ava's innocence.

Trina then asked Joss straight up what she really wanted to say as it seemed like she was holding back and "censoring" herself. Joss said she hated Ava which Trina said she knew already and many other people do. When Trina asked Joss what her problem was, she bluntly responded, "You."

Joss elaborated, stating that she's having a hard time with Trina sticking by Ava. Trina said she would do that for any of her friends but especially for Ava. Joss exclaimed that she didn't begrudge her since Trina and Ava did bond over the terrible things that Ryan and Esme did to them. Trina then said she didn't begrudge Joss either for hating Ava. Trina added that Joss's logic isn't "stupid" and knows Ava has done horrible things.

As the conservation continued to get heated, Joss said Ava is still doing horrible things and most likely provoked Kristina. Trina responded, "You don't know that." Joss demanded to know what terrible action it would take for her to question if Ava's if worthy of her friendship. Trina hit back, saying, "As if there aren't plenty of people in your life you don't constantly look the other way for."

Fans had differing opinions about who was right in this argument. Some thought Joss was hypocritical and others thought Joss had a reason to want her best friend to stay away from Ava especially since she was involved in Joss's brother's death. One fan said: "Joss's words to Trina would be more powerful if she wasn't still so friendly towards various criminals too..She has judged Sonny+Ava but not JASON+even Carly being so involved with crimes so Trina had a great reply to her" A second fan said: "Today’s MVP is Tabyana Ali. Trina not taking any s--- from either Joss or Ava & walking away from both of them was amazing!"

Another said: "I don't disagree. they both love criminals, but it's the fact Ava DIRECTLY hurt Joss and her family, Jason hasn't done anything like that to Trina and her family. I've just always felt like the Tava friendship has been used to whitewash Ava while Trina doesn't benefit" A fourth fan wrote: "I get where Trina is coming from - Joss has blinders with the bad acts of Jason/Sonny/Carly/Dex/etc. - but if we’re besties, how could you be friends with someone who contributed to the death of my brother?
