Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez had honeymoon from hell as marriage woes began days after wedding

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's marital bliss ended just days after their wedding, according to reports.

The newlyweds had a rocky start as Ben was reportedly unhappy with the media attention surrounding their 2022 wedding. A source has claimed communication between the pair became strained during their honeymoon in Lake Como, Italy.

Their wedding had taken place in a Las Vegas ceremony at A Little White Wedding Chapel in July 2022, followed by another ceremony a month later at Ben's Georgia residence, surrounded by friends and family. A source has now claimed: "When they weren't in front of the cameras they would barely speak to each other during what was supposed to be the happiest time of their life."

The source added: "He sold her on him being a changed man, and that lasted a very short time." Ben reportedly craved more privacy and found it challenging to deal with his new wife's immense fame.

The source further claimed to Page Six : "He doesn't want [the entourage] and all the drama that comes with that in his home. The Mirror US has approached Jennifer and Ben's representatives for comment."

The claims come after the moment it all went wrong for J.Lo and Ben was revealed in her documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told. The film was created alongside a new album and original movie.

In the documentary, the singer disclosed that Ben had kept all of their love letters and correspondence from when they first began dating in 2002 up to the present day. He had these letters and emails bound into a book as a gift for her when they reunited in 2021.

Jennifer shared: "This book is a book Ben gave me on our first Christmas back together. It is every letter and every mail that we wrote each other from 20 years ago and today."

Her husband wasn't happy the book had been shared and said: "She's like 'I've been reading it to people. This is kind of the inspiration and I've been showing them the book. I was like you've been showing all the musicians all those letters... and they were like 'Yeah we call you Pen Affleck.'

'And I was like, 'Oh my god.'" He added that he would have preferred if the letters had remained private. Ben said: "I did really find the beauty and the poetry and the irony in the fact that it's the greatest love story never told."
