Teen Mom fans slam Farrah Abraham as she buys daughter Sophia, 15, $160k Tesla CyberTruck

Farrah Abraham bought her teenage daughter a Tesla CyberTruck worth up to $160k.

The Teen Mom star posted on Instagram story a photo of her daughter standing in front of a silver model Tesla CyberTruck at a Tesla dealership. Her 15-year-old daughter, Sophia, had her hands outstretched presenting the car with joy. She wore a black shirt, black and white pants and black shoes. Her face was covered by a black mask with her half purple and half black hair framing her face.

In the photo, Farrah tagged Sophia and wrote about how she bought her daughter her first car and they can't wait for it to be delivered. Farah confirmed the expensive purchased to TMZ . She told the outlet that she allowed Sophia to pick her first car out and she chose the Tesla Cybertruck Cyberbeast Foundation. The outlet said it was $123K out of the reality TV alum's pockets.

The 33-year-old also mentioned that they will be picking the car up next week and Sophia will customize the chrome car. While Farrah got Sophia her first car, Sophia does not have her license yet. She only has her learner's permit.

People on social media criticized Farrah's decision for buying her daughter an exorbitant gift that they also said was unsafe. On a Teen Mom subreddit, where the story was screenshot, one fan said: "No teenager driver needs a damn tank driving around their first few years of driving." A second fan said: "Is she aware that these dumpsters on wheels effectively have no crumple zone in the event of a crash, and the doors and bumpers just fall off? Oh and all of those manufacturer mistakes void the warranty sooooo."

Another said: "Definitely not the safest vehicle. Farrah is so materialistic that she doesn’t even bother to research anything." A fourth fan wrote: "I'm sorry but in NO WAY is this type of car safe for any new young driver. I don't know who Farrah is trying to impress but this car is not safe for her daughter. What the h--- is she thinking...In my opinion this is more for Farrah to showoff than it is for her daughters safety. Wish she would use her brain sometimes especially when it comes to her child."

Farah hit back at critics by posting on her Instagram story that read, "I'm a good mother first, so what I do second is nobody's business." She also posted screenshots of responses to the Instagram story of Sophia with her brand new car and in one of those messages, a fan told her she's "such a good mommy" and how she has managed to be a great mom despite what she's been through.
