Taylor Swift has seemingly chosen a side amid the rift between Royal brothers Prince William and Harry .

The pop sensation couldn't hide her excitement as she hung out with Prince William at her Eras tour kickoff in London, despite having passed on the opportunity to collaborate with Meghan Markle . The Prince of Wales let loose with some enthusiastic dance moves during Taylor's electric performance at Wembley Stadium before getting a chance to meet the pop icon backstage.

Excitement was high as Prince William brought along his kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, to the encounter.

The Royal brood, along with Taylor Swift, all flashed big smiles for a group selfie that even featured a cameo from Taylor's beau Travis Kelce. This friendly meetup was quite the contrast to Meghan Markle's unsuccessful bid to get Taylor on her Archetypes podcast.

It has been reported that last year, Meghan made an attempt to secure Taylor for her Spotify podcast by sending her a "personal letter". Despite Meghan's efforts, Taylor turned down the invitation through a spokesperson, as per the Telegraph's reporting.

Meghan's Archetypes ran for a single season and saw her chatting with stars like Serena Williams, Paris Hilton, and Jameela Jamil, yet it was ultimately removed from Spotify following a decision to cut ties with Meghan and Harry. A senior Spotify figure didn't mince words post-split, referring to the couple as "f------ grifters."

Meghan has teamed up with the podcast network Lemonada after her departure from Spotify, and they've already rolled out the first season of Archetypes. She's also gearing up to launch a fresh podcast with them, slated for next year.

Earlier this year, Meghan expressed her excitement about the partnership with Lemonada in a statement: "I'm proud to now be able to share that I am joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting."
