A 10-foot-long python was found in a car during a police bust on an illegal sideshow in the San Francisco Bay area that drew hundreds of spectators, according to authorities.

The Vallejo Police Department reported receiving numerous calls around 11:12 pm on Friday about a sideshow involving approximately 500 vehicles in the city. Drivers were obstructing traffic, shining lasers into the eyes of other drivers and performing donuts, as per a police statement.

Police initiated a traffic stop after the occupants of a Cadillac directed a laser into officers' eyes. However, the driver led the police on a 10-mile chase to Hercules, where the driver and three passengers abandoned the vehicle.

Upon searching the vehicle, police discovered a 10-foot python . The driver was apprehended on several charges, including felony evasion, while the passengers were issued misdemeanor citations. Vallejo is situated roughly 30 miles northeast of San Francisco .
