As Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne's ex-husband Tom Giradi has been found guilty of embezzling $15 million from his clients, we're taking a closer look at his total net worth.

On Monday, August 27 the 85-year-old former lawyer was convicted of running a 10-year-long Ponzi scheme and embezzling tens of millions of dollars of settlement funds from his clients. The California-based attorney was also found guilty on four counts of wire fraud, according to reports by NBC Los Angeles . The plaintiffs in the case also sued his ex-wife Erika for aiding and abetting Tom but the judge determined she did not know about the alleged crimes.

And as Tom has been entangled in his ongoing legal battle that could land him up to 20 years in prison, we're taking a look at his staggering total net worth after over a decade as a practicing lawyer. According to Celebrity Net Worth , Tom had a total estimated net worth of around $264 million at the height of his career. But after his extensive legal woes, Tom is now estimated to have between $100,000 to a speculated $2 million, according to reports by Leeds Journal .

According to a report in the LA Times, in a loan application Tom shared this estimated net worth and a breakdown of his assets during the peak of his legal career. The filing listed that Tom was the owner of two private planes, $9 million worth of jewelry, $3 million worth of antiques, and a residence in Pasadena worth north of $10 million. He also estimated that his law firms 2016 legal fees would top $110 million.

After generating his massive fortune, Tom was later met with a string of lawsuits that eventually led to him and his law firm being forced into involuntary Chapter 7 bankruptcy. These legal suits included his two former law partners one of which claimed that he owed them $750,000 and the other $1.5 million. A month earlier, a federal lawsuit also accused Tom of embezzling "millions" of dollars owed to his clients.

As for the Pasadena mansion, Tom shared the home with his former wife reality star Erika. The pair were married for 21 years until she filed for divorce in 2020. After their breakup, the pair listed their home on the real estate market for $13 million in May of 2021. They later sold the property for $7.5 million in October of 2022.

Tom was later diagnosed with dementia in 2021 which raised questions about his mental competency and ability to practice and was officially disbarred in 2022. And while Tom's current financial state is unknown, it is predicted that what is left of Tom's fortune could be used to compensate his former clients.
