Simone Biles vents over 'struggle' to find 'bottoms that fit' as she reveals her pants size

Olympics star Simone Biles has a difficult time finding pants to fit her petite body. The gymnast took to Instagram to talk about this "struggle" when it came to finding pants for her frame.

Simone is 4'8 which is an advantage in gymnastics but not for shopping it would appear. In her Instagram story on August 26, she posted a photo of plastic-covered articles of clothing, one white and the other black. They were on top of a pair of black high-rise straight-leg Abercrombie & Fitch pants that said size 23/000.

She had two written text boxes that read: "Before y’all complain that nothing fits y’all, I want y’all to see my struggle…" and " So hard to find bottoms that fit. But when I find them…my heart."

Simone has talked about in the past about making clothes work with her height. For her second larger wedding to Chicago Bears football safety Jonathan Owens after their first in Houston, Texas, she had a custom Galia Lahav gown that was specifically altered to fit her figure. The second wedding was in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and happened in May 2023.

"I was nervous about having a ball gown because I'm so petite — but it works perfect," the 27-year-old told Vogue. "The leg slit was very crucial. It was to add, in my head, more length to my body. I think this is exactly how brides are supposed to feel — luxurious, beautiful, kind of on top of the world."

While Simone has always been candid about her small stature, she did express annoyance at being asked about her petite height. In a January 2018 interview with Today , the Olympian shared how over she was about this topic of conversation.

“The question I wish people would stop asking me is, ‘How tall are you? Are you going to grow?’ I’m not going anywhere. I’m 4’ 8”. I'm stuck,” she said.

No matter Simone's size, she is currently both the most decorated gymnast and the most decorated Olympic gymnast of all time. On August 11, she finished competing at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics where she took home four medals (three gold and one silver), adding to her overall 11 metals over three Olympics Games. She has 30 World Championship metals , 23 of them gold.

For Simone, the Paris Olympics were her "redemption tour" after the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020. She withdraw from the all-around finals at the games because of her mental health and “the twisties.”
