Kylie Jenner slammed for doing 'basic parenting' as nannies 'work 12-hour shifts'

Kylie Jenner has come under fire from critics for doing the "bare minimum" when it comes to looking after her kids.

The 27-year-old shares two children - Stormi and Aire Webster - with her ex-boyfriend Travis Scott. Kylie tends to keep her kids out of the spotlight, but delighted fans when she took to Instagram to share some snaps from their time together.

In one picture, the youngsters were seen shopping with their mom, while another showed Kylie spending time with her son in a funhouse. While fans found the photos adorable, some critics have questioned why Kylie is being praised for "basic parenting".

Sharing the post on Reddit, one person fumed: "'Best mom ever' for basic parenting. Taking the time to take your kids out to the park is basic parenting. It's what you’re supposed to do with your kid, regardless of their tired which I highly doubt kyLIE ever is."

They continued: "I hate when celebrity fan pages do these edits of them doing the most basic parenting stuff and act like no other parent on this whole does it, like they special." Others quickly agreed.

"The bar is so low for them. They constantly have the nannies do everything for their kids that when they do hang out with their child they get all the praise in the world. Bare minimum," one person snapped.

Another said: "Not that hard to be the best mom ever when you've got a team of nannies, chefs, at your disposal," while a third person added: "This is the lowest bar of all time. A literal ant could crawl over this bar."

The harsh criticism comes following claims Kylie's nannies work long 12-hour days. A source claimed: "They have hardly any work-life balance. It's extreme, and on top of that, Kylie is super strict about everything from sleep schedules to what her children eat."

Speaking to Life and Style Magazine , the source said keeping up with Kylie's expectations became too much for one employee. "She quit! The kids are actually very well-behaved, but the nanny just became overwhelmed by the tediousness of working for their mother," the source claimed.
