Former Baywatch star Jeremy Jackson has bravely opened up about his battle with addiction in Hulu's latest docuseries After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun.

The series, which has noticeably not included Pamela Anderson , features a raw and candid interview with 43-year-old Jeremy, who portrayed David Hasselhoff's son Hobie, reflecting on his turbulent adolescence. Reminiscing about an encounter with his TV dad , he shared: "I remember David saying 'Are you smoking pot or something?'

"And I was [thinking] like, 'Jesus, they think I'm smoking pot?' I could never tell them the truth. What would they think?"

The docuseries explored the darker sides of the '90s lifeguard drama, with the cast opening up about their low pay while filming Baywatch. Jeremy didn't hold back from expressing his former turmoil: "When you haven't slept for five days and you've been smoking crystal meth having somebody look you in the eyes and say 'Dude, are you okay?' is like the worst thing that can happen."

He added: "I was spiraling down for sure. My life slipped through my hands like sand." In an interview with People Magazine , he further opened up about what sobriety means to him, stating: "[When people ask] 'am I in a good place,' they mean am I still sober.

"It's a huge mistake people make with 'good and bad,' when drug addiction and alcoholism is a case of mental sickness, not about morality fortitude or personal character and virtue." He elaborated: "I am in remission from the chronic, fatal and progressive disease I was once plagued with? 'Yes, thank God. Yes, I am'."

In a jaw-dropping admission during the documentary, Jackson confessed to sniffing his female co-stars' swimsuits after filming. Nicole Eggert, a former co-star, reacted to this bombshell by stating: "I knew Jeremy very well, this surprises me not at all."

Jeremy has encountered legal issues in the past few years, including a 2017 conviction for assault that led to jail time. He has since reinvented himself as a personal trainer.

After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun, a four-part series, is now streaming on Hulu.
