Reason Jennifer Lopez is after a new home after leaving $68million mansion shared with Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez has been busy house hunting in Beverly Hills after putting the mansion she shares with Ben Affleck up for sale.

The pair officially put their $68million home on the market last month, having only bought it in May 2023. They previously lived in the home with their blended family, including J.Lo's twins Max and Emme and Ben's three children Violet, Seraphina and Samuel.

However, the Argo actor moved out of the property just weeks before it was announced J.Lo had filed for divorce . A source has now revealed why Jennifer is also keen to find another property.

"She and Ben bought the house for the whole family. It's way too big for her and filled with too many memories as well," the source told People Magazine .

Ben moved out of the Beverly Hills home before the divorce news was announced, with the actor recently paying $20.5million for a Los Angeles mansion. He had been living in a rental home in Brentwood.

J.Lo and Ben's $68million property boasts 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms. It includes a zero-edge pool, basketball and pickleball courts, as well as a gym, boxing ring and caretaker house.

The mansion also has a 12-car garage and parking for 80 vehicles. For any guests, there's a two-bedroom guardhouse and a separate 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse.

J.Lo was spotted searching for a new home back in May. She wore an all-white outfit as she appeared to be looking at new mega-mansions in Los Angeles.

The Jenny from the Block hitmaker filed for divorce from Ben on August 20 after just two years of marriage. In the paperwork, she listed their official date of separation as April 26, 2024.

It seems like J.Lo and Ben won't have much to figure out with their divorce as they didn't have a prenuptial agreement in place and J.Lo has waved spousal support, according to TMZ . She is also asking the judge to deny Ben spousal support.
