Therapuss host Jake Shane can't stop smiling after interviewing his idol

Jake Shane can't stop smiling over meeting and interviewing someone who meant the world to him .

The Therapuss podcast host released the latest episode on Thursday, August 29 with Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi as the special guest . Before he interviewed Nicole in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, he expressed at the beginning of the episode his love for the Jersey Shore star and recalled the day he first watched her on the show.

He called her "incredible, hysterical and authentically herself." Jake posted a picture of himself posing for the camera with a smile on his face, wearing a collard shirt with black pants, and captioned the post: "smiling about Snooki."

Throughout the episode, the two shared a drink, many laughs, and reminisced on Nicole's time on the show. Many people commented on the post and were happy for Jake. One person wrote: "Smiling about you smiling about Snooki." Another person wrote: "I was smiling so hard throughout the whole episode! SO deserving." A third person wrote: "was smiling and laughing through the whole thing!!!" A fourth wrote: "currently rewatching Jersey Shore just bc of the pod."

Jake previously posted that Nicole got him through one of the hardest moments of his life, his grandparents passing away. He was introduced to the Jersey Shore around that time. Nicole was someone who Jake connected to the most.

He wrote in the caption: "I’ll never forget the smile she brought to me during a hard time and all the smiles she continued to bring to me just by being herself. It was inspiring, endearing, and, most of all, hilarious. Growing up unsure of who I was, watching Snooki showed me that being authentically you pays off and leads you exactly where you’re supposed to be."

With the post, he posted three pictures. One of him and Snooki sitting at one of the iconic boardwalk bars from the show and both with a drink in hand. There was another picture of Jake meeting Nicole when he was young and the last picture was of him wearing the picture on his shirt and recreating the moment as they are now.
