Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi revealed that the MTV producers were the reason for her arrest at the beach .

Nicole was a special guest on Jake Shane 's Therapuss podcast and the episode was released on Thursday, August 29. Throughout the episode, the two shared a drink, many laughs, and reminisced on Nicole's time on the Jersey Shore. One specific iconic scene from the show became the topic of conversation, in which Nicole claimed that the MTV producers were the reason for it.

The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star was arrested on July 30, 2010, for disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, and criminal annoyance. This moment was broadcast on season three of the MTV show with Nicole screaming the iconic line, "where's the beach?"

On the podcast, she said: "Those cops weren’t on shift for the town. They were on shift from production to make sure they were protecting us from crazy people. … So I don’t even think it’s legal because they weren’t working for the town, but I watched the video back and one of the producers said, 'Just arrest her.'"

The Mirror reached out to MTV for comment.

Nicole also revealed that she started to black out when she was getting put into handcuffs. She was taken into custody for three charges but they were dropped two months later, and she was given a $500 fine along with a two-day community service requirement.

The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star took Therapuss viewers step by step on how that day went for her.

She said: "I woke up that day and I was drinking nonstop so you know when you wake up and you feel like the shakes are coming? You’re like, ‘I’m going to s--t, I’m going to throw up, but I have to be on camera and I have to go [to] this shift,’ so I woke up still in my party dress with my blanket on walking to my shift."

When she arrived to work she continued to drink a Four Loko, a Long Island Iced Tea, and a beer to try to stop "the shakes." She said that she "can't do this" and ran to the bar, and took shots to feel better but she "didn't stop."

Nicole also explained that she did in fact know where the beach was. She was trying to see where the entrance was because there were certain entries to get on the beach.
