Rapper Fatman Scoop slurred his final three words before dropping his microphone and collapsing onto the stage before his tragic death at 53 years old .

The moment came as the Be Faithful hitmaker was rallying up a crowd in Hamden Town Center Park, Connecticut Friday night. In concert footage, the rapper was seen shirtless pacing back and forth on stage as he approached the DJ booth seemingly out of breath and panting. He then shouted out to the crowd through slurred words and heavy breathing: "I said Hamden make some noise!"

He then went on to shout out "If you came to party" and then took a long pause and added, "Make some noise." These were his final words because as soon he was finished speaking, he collapsed onto the stage and dropped his mic onto the ground. Screams of horror then rang out in the crowd as people rushed to Fatman Scoop's aid performing chest compressions as they desperately tried to resuscitate him.

After the distressing moment, the DJ on the microphone called attention to the emergency and seemed to be placing blame on the venue for not providing a cooling system for those performing. In concert footage, the DJ said: "They ain't got no fans on this stage. Jesus they ain't got a a near fan on the stage - nothing going on on the stage."

Hamden Mayor Lauren Garett later confirmed that Fatman Scoop, legally Isaac Freeman III, was transported to a hospital by ambulance after being taken out of the venue on a stretcher. She asked his fans to keep him in their thoughts and prayers during this uncertain time.

On Saturday morning, the heartbreaking news broke that Fatman Scoop died Friday night after his fall. According to CT Insider , the rapper's death was confirmed by his tour manager Birch Michael. In an emotional Facebook post, he penned: "It is with the heaviest of hearts I announce the passing of Isaac Freeman III, Known professionally as Fatman Scoop."

He continued: "You taught me how to be the Man I am today. I Love you Scoop, Thank you so much for everything you gave to me. Rest In Peace x.” Fatman Scoop's official cause of death is still unknown.
