Gypsy Rose Blanchard has revealed to fans what led to her sudden divorce from Ryan Anderson as she admits that the timing wasn't great but she was "a fool in love."
After being released from prison where she’d spent more than eight years of a 10-year sentence for her role in the murder of her mother. While behind bars, Gypsy tied the knot with Ryan and went on to share nearly two years of marriage together. But three months after being released from prison, Gypsy decided to call it quits on their romance and filed for divorce claiming that he was "controlling." And during that time, she rekindled her love with her former flame Ken Urker who she is now expecting her first baby with .
Gypsy has since been met with backlash over the scandal as she reignited her romance with Ken while her divorce was still yet to be finalized. And while the 33-year-old understands the error of her ways, she confessed that she was so madly in love that she wasn't able to wait another moment to be back with her "missing puzzle piece."
In a newly uploaded YouTube vlog, the Munchhausen-by-proxy survivor opened up about her divorce and the reasoning why she was so ready to jump into a new relationship. Speaking on the timing of it all, Gypsy said: "Like I've said time and time again would I go back and kind of change the timing of things a little bit? I mean yeah I definitely could've waited until the divorce was final but I am a fool in love."
As she sat on her bed and folded her laundry, Gypsy opened up about her connection with Ken. Through a cracked voice, Gypsy explained: "With all that being said, Ken and I have been through a lot together, and apart. And it is such a blessing to find the person you're meant to be with after going through so much. I just never want to take him for granted. I don't want a moment to go by that he wonders 'does she love me?' I am so in love with this man."
She went on to add: "In the five years that we were separated I was in pain. I couldn't get over him. I always felt lost. I always felt like my person was within reach I just couldn't get to him. And I felt like the time that we had together while I was locked up - we were robbed of a real relationship - of a real chance together."
Fans were stunned Gypsy's confession and took to the YouTube comments sharing their take on the situation. Gypsy's video was met with a string of hate as critics slammed what they perceived to be crocodile tears and bashed her for ever marrying Ryan in the first place.
One viewer commented: "She should fire whoever in her PR team said this video was a good idea lol." And another said: "Anyone know why Ken had the initiative to write to her for the fist time? Im not a hater, but i would like to see an apology and some regret for marrying Ryan when she had to 'force' a bond with him."
And a third wrote: "Where’s the tears? Ya know seems every time you tell a 'ooh poor me, pity me, baby me' stories you never ever have a tear in your eyes even tho you pretend your crying. It’s so fake. When are you going to be REAL FOR ONCE."
