The Royal Family has "called Prince Harry's bluff" by continuing to "ignore" his explosive allegations, according to a royal expert .

Since the release of his shocking memoir Spare in early 2023, the royals have remained silent on the accusations Harry made against them. The Duke of Sussex has continued to demand an apology from the Royal Family, particularly for the alleged treatment of his wife Meghan Markle.

However, reports suggest Harry is keen to reconcile with his father King Charles , despite the Royal Family not yet issuing a public apology. Royal expert Rebecca English suggested this shows the royals have "called his bluff" by choosing to stay quiet.

Discussing Harry on the latest episode of Palace Confidential, English stated: "As regards to the apology, what I think this boils down to is the Royal Family have called his bluff. They haven't reacted to any of his demands or his threats, either publicly or privately. I mean they pretty much have ignored the fact that Spare had been published."

Comparing the Royal Family's response to a toddler's outburst, she remarked: "It's like don't listen, don't make a fuss, don't give into it, just let it through, it'll blow away and harmony will restore itself." English also expressed her belief that maintaining silence is "the right approach".

Harry's bombshell memoir Spare, which hit shelves in January 2023, spilled several secrets about the Royal Family, including an alleged physical altercation involving his brother Prince William in 2019. During the argument, the Prince of Wales allegedly called Harry's wife "difficult", "rude" and "abrasive".

Harry claims his brother then "grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor". Harry, along with Meghan Markle, chose to leave their Royal roles at the start of 2020.

After stepping down, the couple relocated to the US in March 2020, making California their home. Harry and Meghan live in a lavish $14.65million Montecito mansion, where they live with their son Prince Archie and three-year-old daughter Lilibet.
