British former model, Sam Fox has been sentenced for public disorder after a boozy bust-up on a plane led to her arrest.

The 58-year-old, who was the UK's original 'Page 3 girl' , which saw her appear on Page 3 of the tabloids in various racy shoots back in the eighties, was nabbed at Heathrow Airport back in December 2023 after a bust-up aboard a British Airways flight bound for Germany .

Fox pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly at the airport on December 3 at an earlier court hearing. The former model admitted to using threatening behavior, causing harassment, alarm or distress to a police constable during the incident.

The fracas preventing the flight from London to Hamburg from taking off, causing a ripple effect of inconvenience as passengers were shunted to a hotel stay and rebooked flights the next day.

Fox appeared Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Monday (September 2). The court heard how she told a cop: "I know where you live" and threatened to knock his teeth out.

District judge Tan Ikram told Fox she had caused "great inconvenience" to the airline and its passengers.

He handed down a 12-month community sentence, a hefty £1,000 ($1,300) fine, and up to 25 days of rehabilitation activities. Delivering his verdict, he said: "In this case, the plane was still on the ground, but as a result of your behavior the pilot - so that the aircraft would not be endangered - returned the aircraft to the stand.", reports the Daily Star .

"There, passengers disembarked and were unable to catch the flight that evening - (they) had to stay overnight and caught the first flight in the morning. There is a claim for compensation, but I note at this stage the great inconvenience that you caused all those passengers who were unable to catch that flight and that is separate from the financial loss that British Airways incurred as a result of your actions."

He pointed out her "abusive behavior" towards a police officer as an aggravating factor. Fox was ordered to pay £1,718.09 ($2,300), the cost claimed by British Airways, plus £100 ($131) to PC Smith, £85 ($112) in costs, and a £114 ($150) victim surcharge.

Although Fox was acquitted of assaulting her wife Linda Olsen during the incident, she did spend a night in jail after being ejected from the aircraft. She expressed remorse for the turmoil, apologizing to The Sun, saying she was "deeply sorry for any disruption caused".
