Gypsy Rose Blanchard relaxes in red swimsuit after sobbing over state of her relationship

Gypsy Rose Blanchard was glowing in new photos where she soaked up the sun after some recent emotional unrest .

The documentary-subject-turned-reality-star posed on the beach for a few selfies featuring a red low-cut bathing suit top. She pulled her blonde hair away from her face with a clip, leaving a few bang strands to fall loosely. Gypsy popped in a pair of diamond stud earrings and opted for a more neutral makeup look. However, she did underscore the saucy red color with a light rouge on her lips.

She kept her eyes shut for the snaps, directing her glance away from the camera. Gypsy captioned the Instagram post with a simple sunglass-smiley emoji, but wrote in the comments: "I had a wonderful time this weekend at the lake with my family and Ken."

Previously, she had an emotional revelation about her boyfriend Ken which left viewers grabbing for tissues as she detailed their complicated romance that started behind bars. Their engagement in Oct. 2018 eventually led to a split, but, after marrying and heading for divorce with Ryan Anderson, Gypsy Rose has circled back to Ken.

In her recent YouTube video, she talks candidly about their past issues and her deep feelings now: "Ken and I have been through a lot together and apart and it is such a blessing to find the person that you're meant to be with after going through so much that I really just don't ever want to take him for granted. I don't want a moment to go by that he wonders, 'Does she love me? ' because I am so... I'm sorry," as she visibly struggled to hold back her emotions.

Her heartfelt message continued: "I am so in love with this man. In the five years we were separated, I was in pain, I couldn't get over him. I always felt lost. I always felt like my person was within reach, I just couldn't get to him and I felt like the time that we had together while I was locked up, we were robbed of a real relationship, of a real chance together."

Gypsy Rose opened up about her past relationship struggles following her high-profile legal battle and imprisonment, saying: "Most people when they break up on the outside, they know that their relationship is not gonna work and they know that they did everything they could, like they had a real shot. But we didn't have that. We were robbed of that."

She continued to detail how their bond has evolved post-release, with Gypsy Rose revealing: "We couldn't have a normal relationship at that time. So now that we can, that is something to treasure, that's something to hold onto ... I just can't express enough how happy he makes me."
