Gypsy Rose Blanchard announces she's making two big changes amid outpour of fan concern

Gypsy Rose Blanchard has said she will be making some big changes to her social media profiles following concern form fans.

The 33-year-old left fans confused as she changed her username and profile picture on Instagram , subsequently losing her verified tick. Fans shared their concerns in the comments section of her latest post, with one person asking: "What's with the user change? Js curious."

Another fan spotted: "The blue check mark is gone as well." A third follower added: "I noticed that too..I swore she was verified." Gypsy Rose has now taken to her Instagram Story to put a stop to the confusion.

She shared a chunk of white text on a pink background and explained: "I recently changed my username across all platforms in order to be more uniform. I also changed my profile picture displaying one of Ken and I.

"Some of you have noticed that my verified check mark is gone from my profiles, this happens when major changes are made such as a username change. I will renew my verification soon."

Gypsy Rose finished her statement by writing: "Thank you for understanding. You can now follow me @gypsyrosemedia." The change has also been made on Gypsy Rose's TikTok and YouTube accounts.

Her statement comes after she was forced to issue a warning to fans after being interrupted during a family reunion. Gypsy Rose enjoyed some time away at the lake with her family, including boyfriend Ken Urker, over the weekend.

Afterwards, she took to TikTok to share how they had their privacy invaded by fans. "This last weekend was the Blanchard family reunion," Gypsy Rose explained.

She continued: "It was wonderful to meet everyone and learn about our family history. We spent the weekend at the lake where everyone was having fun and enjoying our time together, however our reunion was contantly being interrupted and invaded by people wanting to invade our space and privacy.

"Circling our campsire with cameras and phones who want selfies or photo ops. As much as I appreciate the support of the locals, I only ask to keep in mind that we have extended family members who do not wish to be a port of the media world, some of them with minors."

Gypsy Rose then asked fans to be "more conscious and considerate" when approaching her. She concluded: "Thank you for your time."
