Jeopardy! champion Victoria Groce reunites with fellow legend as she graces fans' TV screens again

James Holzhauer and Victoria Groce are together again.

The two Jeopardy! mega-champions have reunited and it was not for another tournament for the trivia game show . On James' X formerly Twitter officially account, he shared a photo of him and the medical writer at a restaurant on August 26. They were posing together for a photo with two matching smiles on their faces.

The professional sports gambler was dressed in a Japan Football Special Edition samurai jersey while Victoria wore a green dress with white printed shapes. James captioned the photo: "The greatest living Jeopardy player meets a big fan."

Victoria quoted tweeted the post by sharing a glimpse of the hangout, "James: asks about what on the menu is an actual Pittsburgh specialty. My husband: extols the virtues of Jannamico Super Punch [eye emoji]. (Based on the game yesterday I think the Cubs would be glad for you to hang out before every game!)"

In the comments of the former The Chase contestant's tweet, James was visiting Philadelphia where Victoria resides. She responded to a fan that she took James to Warren downtown to eat. Victoria and James continued interacting under her comment section. James responded: "Actual Pittsburgh specialty = regular food but with fries on top for some reason" to which Victoria replied: "We didn’t get into this but also: steak that is charred on the outside and raw on the inside."

Fans were excited to see the two hang out and socialize. One fan said: "I love that you’re all friends. That’s so great. Awesome masters!!" Another said: "I love this image. 2 Masters."

It comes as a re-run of Victoria facing off against Sam Buttrey and Matt Jackson on Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament (JIT) that showed on Tuesday, September 3 but aired originally on April 4.

Both of James and Victoria have made a name for themselves on Jeopardy!. Victoria first appeared on the show in 2005 and took down a 19-day Jeopardy! champion David Madden. She made a victorious return back to Jeopardy in 2024 when she won the first Invitational Tournament in April and then won J eopardy! Masters in May.

James is well known for his 32-game winning streak in 2019 and winning Tournament of Champions that November. He has set the record for multiple single-games winnings and fills the top ten spot . He is the second-highest winner in Jeopardy! regular play (non-tournaments) winning with $2,464,216 following behind host Ken Jennings and the third-highest-earning Jeopardy! contestant of all time behind Brad Rutter and Ken.

Season 41 of Jeopardy will back next week on September 9. The show is currently on a hiatus.
