Brooke Schofield joked she "almost got convinced" as she caught wind of rumors that she and Love Island USA star Rob Rausch used to date after a string of compelling evidence.
Last week, fans sparked theories that Brooke and Rob used to be romantically involved after picking up on a series of telling clues on social media. One of which included an instance of when Brooke was dishing on the Cancelled podcast about meeting a hot guy at the Streamy's. The description seemed to perfectly match the reality star as she said he was someone that had a "very specific job" she then goes on to call him a "snake whisperer."
Brooke's co-host Tana Mongeau sparked the conversation on the latest episode of Cancelled as she jokingly said to Brooke: "I keep seeing all these things that you're dating Rob from Love Island - or dated Rob from Love Island. Have you seen that?"
To which Brooke replied: "I know and if you actually watch the video like I almost got convinced," and then went on to confirm: "It was kind of crazy because I talked about him on the podcast like long before he was on Love Island. I was like 'I met this guy' because we sat next to him at the Streamy's."
And while Brooke confirmed that she and Tana had come face-to-face with Rob from Love Island USA at the award show, she said that it was long before he had become America's heartthrob on the Peacock dating series. Brooke went on to add that although she knew who he was and found him attractive, they never actually exchanged any words at the event.
Tana then asked Brooke: "So you were talking about him?" And Brooke replied: "Yes but I knew in my head that one of my friends was seeing - or had seen - this guy, I didn't know his name, but he was a snake whisperer. And I'm like how many snake whisperers, like hot snake whisperers, could there be? So in my head it was just automatically obvious this was him so I can't talk to him."
Brooke added that this is not the first time she has been connected to the Love Island star as fans previously accused her of trying to get his attention in the past. In a video on TikTok, Brooke was showing off a snake she found on the side of the road as she gushed over her love for reptiles. And while Brooke said she had no ulterior motive for sharing the clip, many fans accused her of just posting the video in hopes of Rob reaching out.
Speaking on the incident, Brooke jokingly said: "I love snakes. And I was really offended because everyone was like 'Ugh all she does is try to get a guys attention.' I'm like - so true. But not this time."
