Justin, 53, tied the knot with Jennifer back in 2015 but they parted ways after just two years marriage. Since their divorce, Jennifer has stayed single and openly discussed her contentment with not having children.
Despite this, back in June, Jennifer took a firm stand against former President Donald Trump's running mate, JD Vance , who demeaned childless women as "miserable." Jen questioned Vance's anti-IVF stance as he made disparaging comments about Kamala Harris and her "bunch of childless cat ladies, who are miserable about their own lives".
Jennifer made waves on what was formerly known as Twitter with her sharp retort: "Mr Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day."
In a recent discussion with The Times, Justin reflected: "She is still very dear to me so of course, yeah, I feel protective. But she batted back criticism, as well she should."
The ex-couple has always painted their split as mutual and lovingly made, with Justin currently planning his future with fiancee Nicole Brydon Bloom while cherishing memories with Jennifer: "We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship."
Jennifer and Justin's love story began in 2011 when they both starred in the comedy film Wanderlust. The couple got engaged in August 2012 and tied the knot in a surprise ceremony at their LA residence in August 2015. However, by 2018, their relationship had ended.
Six years ago, Jennifer opened up about the breakup to InStyle magazine. She stated: "It's pretty crazy. 'The misconceptions are 'Jen can't keep a man,' and 'Jen refuses to have a baby because she's selfish and committed to her career.' Or that I'm sad and heartbroken... First, with all due respect, I'm not heartbroken. And second, those are reckless assumptions. No one knows what's going on behind closed doors."
Jennifer has been open about her struggles with fertility after unsuccessful IVF treatments. In an interview with Allure in 2022, she shared: "I was trying to get pregnant. It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road. My late 30s, 40s, I'd gone through really hard s---, and if it wasn't for going through that, I would've never become who I was meant to be. I was trying to get pregnant."
Jennifer first met Brad Pitt in 1998, and they got married in 2000. Their marriage, however, came to an abrupt end when Brad fell for Angelina Jolie while filming Mr and Mrs Smith. By January 2005, Brad and Jen announced their separation. It wasn't long before Brad was spotted enjoying beach time with Angie and her son, Maddox.
In a previously undisclosed interview with Vanity Fair from September of that year, Jen, who was 36 at the time, expressed her shock and distress over rumors that Angelina was already expecting - just two months before her divorce was even finalized. For years, she faced scrutiny for not having children, with harsh rumors implying that she had chosen not to have children with her ex-Brad in order to prioritize her career.
