    The Princess of Wales Kate Middleton has shared an intimate video alongside Prince William , updating the public on her battle with cancer .

    Kate announced the completion of her chemotherapy and is now focusing on healing. She expressed her relief, stating: "As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to finally have completed my chemotherapy treatment. The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family."

    She opened up about the unpredictability of cancer, saying: "Life as you know it can change in an instant and we've had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown. The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you."

    The video also highlighted Kate's bond with her family, showing her joyfully with William and their children, Charlotte, Louis, and George.

    In touching scenes from the video, Kate and William are seen lying on the beach, laughing together, with Kate resting her arm over William. Another moment captures William caressing Kate's hand as she courageously talks about her recovery, reports the Mirror .

    Paying homage to her husband, Kate remarks in the video: "This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted as simply loving and being loved."

    The Princess expressed her eagerness to return to a schedule of lighter duties while acknowledging that her journey to recovery remains arduous. Kate shared her determination and current health focus: "Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes."

    After several months of preventative chemotherapy following her cancer announcement in March, Kate has remained vigilant in her health battle.

    Following a summer respite at Amner Hall, their Norfolk haven, the new candid video sheds light on her personal challenges. She has been open about the ups and downs she faces throughout her recovery, noting the occasional "good days and bad days".

    In the latest footage, the future Queen conveyed deep gratitude alongside Prince William for the overwhelming support they've received, remarking: "William and I are so grateful for the support we've received and have drawn great strength from those who are helping us at this time."

    She lauded the compassion extended to them during this trying period, adding: "Everyone's kindness, empathy and compassion has been truly humbling. To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey, I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness can come light, so let that light shine bright."
