Taylor Swift fans are apparently having the last laugh .

On September 10, Dave Grohl made a jaw-dropping confession on social media. The Foo Fighters frontman took to Instagram and shared that he has cheated on his wife with another woman and has fathered a child. He also announced the birth of his new baby girl while also expressing regret for his action towards his wife and family in the post. The couple, who have been married since 2003, share three daughters: Violet Maye, 18, Harper Willow, 15, and Ophelia Saint, 10.

Dave wrote: "I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness."

His statement concluded with: "We're grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together. Dave."

For fellow Swifties, this news was an example of Tay-voodoo at work especially after the jab the 55-year-old made about her at his concert in London Stadium on June 22. One fan on X formerly Twitter wrote: "Remember when Dave Grohl went after Taylor Swift a few months ago and then the Tay-voodoo hit today." A second fan said: "dave grohl shaded taylor for supposedly lipsyncing and now he’s been outted as a cheater [skull emoji] oh tayvoodoo i love you" Another said: "I just love seeing Tayvoodoo in action."

During the concert, Dave had started by acknowledging how fiercely protective Swifties were over Taylor: "I tell you, man, you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift. So we like to call our tour the Errors Tour. We’ve had more than a few eras, and more than a few f--king errors as well. Just a couple."

It was his insinuation that she didn't perform live that rubbed Swifties the wrong way, as she was currently at doing the international leg of The Eras Tour. Dave had said: "That’s because we actually play live. What? Just saying. You guys like raw, live rock ‘n’ roll music, right? You came to the right f--king place."

The video of him saying that at the show went viral with Taylor herself responding.

“Every one of my band members, every single one of our crew, my band who’s gonna be playing live for you for 3.5 hours tonight, they deserve this so much,” The Prophecy singer said. "And so does every one of my fellow performers. And you just gave that to us so generously, we will never forget it.”

Some of the rock star's fans were defending his words towards Taylor saying he was referring to her use of backing tracks or that it made for his 18-year-old daughter who was cyber-bullied by Swifties for criticizing Taylor's her private jet use.
