Fourth daughter with same exact birthday as three sisters born to South Carolina mom

Every three of the last nine years, Kristen Lammert has given birth on August 25th, with her newest daughter being no exception.

Nick and Kristen Lammert of South Carolina welcomed their fourth daughter at the end of August - sharing a birthday with her three older sisters - also born on August 25th - and they are all exactly three years apart.

People are marveling at this family phenomenon, especially since the newest child wasn't due until the end of September. But the baby couldn't resist but to do what her older sisters were doing. Sophia, 9, Giuliana, 6, and Mia, 3, were all celebrating their shared day when baby sister Valentina, now 2.5 weeks old, decided to come early.

"We really just couldn't believe it, we still can't believe it. I keep writing it down, and I still can't believe it," Lammert told Good Morning America. "I'm still surprised," added the 35-year-old mother of four.

The oldest sister, Sophia, wasn't surprised at all - as she wished on a star just days before the blessed event, asking her newest sister to share a birthday with the rest of the girls (or to be born on the due date).

Mom Kristen says she captured the heartwarming moment on video. In it, Sophia is caught saying: "I wish for a healthy, blessed baby sister on Aug. 25 or Sept. 25."

"I knew she was coming," Sophia said on the phone with Today.com. "For every baby sister, I said that she would be coming on Aug. 25, and she came. So it's kind of like I have magic."

By the way, absolutely none of the births were scheduled c-sections or planned this way. It's one of the rarest occurrences that can happen.

Dr. Christine Greves, an OB-GYN at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, previously told TODAY.com, that "The Guinness Book of World Records holder is a family that have five siblings born on the same day, and they listed that as being about one in a 17 billion chance," meaning that Kristen's family situation is 'extremely rare.'
