Terry Crews made a heartbreaking admission about his wife Rebecca King-Crews in a recent interview.

The Everybody Hates Chris star talked about experiencing grief when he recently reflected on the Sky Elements drone performance that “depicted the story of losing a child” on an episode of America’s Got Talent that aired on 9/11.

“Me and my wife, we know what it's like to lose a child,” Terry told People. “We've had three miscarriages.”

The AGT host added: “It's one of those things where it was so meaningful and special because the dedication is just, it's a way to process these things.” Terry went onto say that the beautifully choreographed performance was what people tuning in from home “needed” to see.

“This is the perfect AGT show today,” he praised. “We balanced out everything. We had the laughs, we had the dedications, we had the fun, we had the dancing. It was just all over the place and it was perfect.” The White Chicks actor also reminisced on using music to help cope with losses and disconnecting from technology.

Terry confessed that to help him maneuver hard times he sits “in a room” and listens “to music,” and doing so enables him to process his feelings and emotions. Also, he mentioned that having conversations with his wife is also helpful.

“We have really, really nice long, deep conversation,” Terry explained what he and Rebecca do when they have hardship. “Turn the TV off, turn the phone off and let’s just talk it through.”

He further admitted: “And it’s amazing what that does. You know what I mean? Definitely. It really, truly, you turn around an hour later you’re like, ‘Wow, I can handle anything.'”

Rebecca and Terry married in 1989. Throughout their marriage, they welcomed three daughters and a son. Terry adopted his eldest Naomi from a prior relationship along with having Azriel, Tera, Wynfrey, and Isaiah with Rebecca. Terry mentioned that it’s important to him to help his kids achieve their goals.

“I know my kids need me and I want to be that voice and that protector and that support,” Terry told Yahoo Life in 2022. A couple of years in 2020 Terry divulged that his wife had a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery following her being diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer.

“Though it was Stage 1, you're overwhelmed with fear, like cancer is this all-consuming, all-powerful evil entity,” he told People in 2020.
