A Florida mother who allegedly pushed her one-year-old daughter out of a car when she accidentally spilled shampoo in the back of the vehicle was placed under arrest.

The angry mom reportedly booted the toddler out of the car in the town of Hialeah before speeding off.

The mother, who is identified as 29-year-old Tasshay Chelsea Mills, then reportedly made a U-turn and ripped her child from the arms of a woman who managed to drag the infant to safety before once again tearing down the road, reports Law and Crime .

Mills faces charges of felony neglect and abuse.

According to the Hialeah Police Department , a woman who was accompanying Mills and her daughter told authorities that the child, Cassidy, “spilled shampoo on the rear seat.” The woman said that Mills “became angry and beat (Cassidy), hitting her multiple times."

She said that Cassidy "continued to cry" during the beating which made Mills even “angrier" stated the warrant “at which point (Mills) opened the rear passenger side door, from the inside of the vehicle, and pushed (Cassidy) out of the vehicle, causing (her) to fall on the asphalt.”

The entire shocking act was witnessed by the people in the car behind Mills, who immediately pulled over and rescued the child who was “bleeding from her head.” The witness, who was in the car with her boyfriend at the time, said.

After pulling over and making sure that the child was ok, the couple attempted to search their car for some wipes to get all the gravel off of the baby's face.

While his girlfriend searched for a means to clean the child off, the man noticed that Mills — who was "driving erratically"— made a U-turn and returned to the scene. It was then, the woman in the car said, she and her 8-year-old son fled.

According to the witness, she then demanded that her baby be returned to her. Ring camera footage, which was later aired on ABC affiliate WPLG , captured the whole confrontation. “Okay, I’m not giving you this baby,” the witness can be heard telling the woman before the mother rips the child out of the woman's arms.

Police said that both the man and his girlfriend were able to provide a full description of Mills as well as get a photo of her license plate. Police say that they contacted Mills and pleaded with her to "take (her daughter) to a local hospital so she could be medically cleared.”

The officer in charge of the investigation said that Mills told him that she would take her daughter to Jackson North Medical Center in North Miami Beach. Records show that the officer attempted to perform a wellness check at an address previously listed by Mills but discovered that she no longer resided there.

According to the officer, he contacted Mills again and was told that she was arranging transportation to the hospital. When the officer asked for Cassidy's location, Mills refused to give it. The officer then followed up with the local hospital only to discover that Mills had never checked her daughter in.

The officer later discovered, thanks to the friend who had been in the car, that Mills was staying with a friend in another town while Cassidy was at her mother's Opa-locka apartment. Police arrived at the residence and took the girl to the hospital for clearance.

After being confronted by police, Mills vehemently denied kicking the child out of the car saying that she “removed” her to “clean the seat.”

The woman, who has yet to be identified, said that she hopes the child is "recuperating well." She later expressed how glad she was that she and her boyfriend were there to help out. This is not Mills' first brush with the law. The outlet reports that the mother has several cases involving theft, assault or probation violations. After the incident last week, Mills has reportedly posted her $7,500 bond and has been warned to stay away from her child.

Mills is slated to appear before another judge on October 13.
