Usually fans are clamoring for tickets to see their favorites on tour - but it seems like one podcast tour has fans begging for people to buy their tickets they don't want anymore.

The Cancelled podcast just kicked off their live tour. Hosts Tana Mongeau and Brooke Schofield are taking their hit podcast on the road, with their first show taking place tonight, Friday, September 13 in Burlington, Vermont.

The tour will include 19 stops, finishing in Los Angeles on October 19. But with recent controversies , some fans don't want to attend the shows.

One fan shared a screenshot of Tana's Instagram Story where she tells fans to "come say hi" while the podcast is on tour. Tara shared a post showing the upcoming tour dates.

"We're officially on the road. Few seats left. Lots of Lore. Some apologies. Come say hiiiiii," she wrote and included a link to buy tickets. The fan who shared the story was not impressed by Tana's attempt at getting fans to attend the show.

The fan wrote: "Lots of lore. SOME apologies????" They added: "As if we have to pay to go to their tour to get an apology? Or are they going to apologise for the tour whilst on tour? shouldn’t they apologise on patreon for that mess on patreon? is this how bad they are trying to sell tickets?"

Other fans commented that there might be a motive for Tana's post. "They have to be seeing the amount of people trying to sell tickets," one wrote.

"They’re down bad for money I fear," another added. A third shared why they were annoyed with the podcast hosts: "I haven’t even bothered watching the last few episodes… I feel like the main problem is not just what happened with Brooke posting those original tweets but how they handled it."

The controversy started when old tweets and social media posts from Brooke resurfaced. In these posts, Brooke shared homophobic and racist thoughts.

From using anti-gay slurs to supporting Donald Trump the posts were not received well by fans. Brooke also came to the defense of the killer of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in 2012. Since the drama, fans do not want to attend the podcast tour.
