Jake Shane fans all say the same thing as Therapuss host compared to major TV stars

Podcaster Jake Shane dropped his photo dump from his VMAs cameo appearance .

The star walked the red carpet at the MTV awards show , making the journey out to New York City for the occasion. In typical Jake fashion, he couldn't resist posting some silly photos that underscore his care-free personality. The trip included a stay in a hotel for the Therapuss host who couldn't resist but to emulate a fan favorite television show during his stay.

In one snap, he was seen riding a luggage cart down a hallway while wearing a suit. The star held onto the metal tightly, accessorizing with a ring on his finger. Fans drew an immediate comparison to Disney's Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

"2nd pic is giving Zach and Cody and I’m obsessed," wrote one fan in his Instagram comments. Another agreed, adding: "Zack and Cody coded."

Jake included more snaps, including an adorable mirror selfie which he snapped on a camera. The content creator propped his arm up against a hotel bathroom wall, giving a neutral look into the reflective glass.

Fans noticed a tiny detail in the photo with one writing, "The Octobuddy rings on the mirror is so real." An Octobuddy is a phone case accessory which includes little suction cups to allow creators to attach their phone to flat surfaces for the purpose of being able to record themselves.

In a final photo, Jake stood in a swanky elevator which featured red walls and checkered floor tiling. He flipped off the camera with an excited look on his face. A fan wrote: "Last photo is me anytime someone runs for the elevator."

"The best red carpet host the world has ever seen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!" a fan complimented Jake's appearance at the award show which included a hilarious gaffe while discussing Justin Timberlake at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards.

The 24 year old host of the Therapuss podcast was on hand to deliver the red carpet commentary for the star-studded Wednesday night event in New York. Flaunting his pop culture chops, Jake rattled off past Video of the Year winners before making a comical error with Justin's last name, mistakenly calling him "Timberleg" instead of "Timberlake" Mortified by the blunder, Jake took to his Instagram Story, jokingly posting: "Called Justin Timberlake Justin TimberLEG and now it's posted on MTV."
