We are less than 24 hours from the second update of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 , bringing some bug fixes and the return of Klombo who fans have been yearning for since July.

Epic Games is set to launch the update Tuesday, September 17, and players couldn't be more excited. The lovable Klombo, little dinosaur-type creature first introduced in Chapter 3, is finally returning in Lego form. Whispers about the giant's return have been floating around the fandom since earlier this year thanks to the roadmap leak. Epic has seemingly toyed with out emotions with every biweekly patch update, including July's 30.30 and update v31.10, which was the very first patch of Chapter 5 Season 4.

Player's hope of seeing their giant scaly friend eroded over time but now we have confirmation. Not from the official Trello board of the Epic Games community, but from dedicated leakers who reported their findings on X. Apparently, Klombo was revealed as an addition to Fortnite's Lego mode in update v31.20 and will be a main component of the Lego Fortnite Isles update.

    What are Klombos?

Klombos were introduced back in Chapter 3. They are mostly-benelovent creatures who push back aggressively if provoked. They were one of the first animals brought into Fortnite and quickly grew on players. The creature wasn't just there for aesthetic however as players could feed it Klomberries for a medley of items.

Additionally, standing on its blowhole would launch a player high into the sky, initiating glider redeploy making the tactic very useful when you're in a sticky situation. Klombos make the Fortnite map seem so alive because they eat loot they stumble upon and destroy all infrastructure they go through.

This made is difficult to lose a pursuing Klombo based on its destructive nature. On Tuesday, a new Lego Klombo will grace the map and maybe bring some new abilities.
