Jeopardy! fans praise Ken Jennings as they compare him to 'rival' Ryan Seacrest

Jeopardy! fans can't get enough of Ken Jennings .

The host of the trivia game show knows a thing or two about Jeopardy! as he use to be a contestant. Before he was the host, Ken appeared on season 20 of Jeopardy! in 2004. He then went on an entire five months winning streak without a loss and he decided to not did not participate in the Tournament of Champions.

Ken became a guest host after the death of longtime host Alex Trebek in January 2021 and even co-hosted with Mayim Bialik . He quickly became a fan favorite and stood as a permanent host starting on season 40.

A user on Reddit praised Ken's hosting after season 41 premiered on September 9. The wrote: "Can we all agree Ken Jennings is killing it as host? The whole Jeopardy lore makes him such a perfect fit to host [goat emoji] Just wanted to give him his flowers."

Others seemed to agree. One person wrote under the thread: "Yes! He’s smarter than the vast majority of people on this planet but is secure enough to never condescend to the players. He’s actually kinder than Alex was in this regard. His humor is light and deft, and he engages beautiful with the players." Another wrote: "So glad he got the job. It was such a natural fit for him. I hope he hosts for many years to come." A third wrote: "It's probably the best story out there. A guy who grew up the biggest Jeopardy fan, grew up to be their GOAT Player, and then now their host."

Some users even tried to compare him to the new Wheel of Fortune host, Ryan Seacrest, and are happy they did not pick him to host Jeopardy!. He took over the show after Pat Sajak announced his retirement. One person wrote: "I don't think Ryan Seacrest is bad, but theres been a few times this week that Wheel just seems weird. I never felt that way when Ken started to host. Ken just always seemed to be a natural fit for Jeopardy." Another person wrote: "I know he wasn’t up for it but so glad ryan seacrest isn’t the host."
