Dave Grohl's devastated wife Jordyn Blum has known about husband's love child 'for a while'

Jordyn Blum was "shocked" when she found out her husband Dave Grohl had fathered a child with another woman .

The Foo Fighters guitarist , 55, shared the bombshell news on Instagram on September 10 as he said he is working to regain his wife's trust . A source has now said Jordyn has known about the baby news "for a while".

They explained: "She was shocked when she found out about the baby." Jordyn's friends are supporting her through this tough time , with the source explaining they are "like family, and they rallied around her."

The source suggested Dave's "flirty behavior" has been a "hurdle in their marriage". They added: "It's been hurtful to Jordyn." While Dave's fans were shocked by the love child scandal, those close to the rockstar and his wife weren't surprised.

Speaking to People Magazine , a source explained: "We keep reading over and over again how heartbroken everyone is because Dave was supposed to be the 'good guy', the rockstar that didn’t have to do those rockstar things. And people are crazy about the guy, but there is a rockstar side."

Dave and Jordyn married in 2003 after meeting at the Sunset Marquis Whiskey Bar in West Hollywood, California. They share three daughters together - Violet Maye, 18, Harper Willow, 15, and Ophelia Saint, 10.

The couple's relationship was thrown into the spotlight when he admitted to cheating on his wife and fathering a child with another woman. Dave admitted to cheating on his current wife in a post shared on Instagram.

He wrote: "I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness."

He then asked fans for privacy, adding: "We're grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together. Dave." It's not yet been disclosed who the other woman is or when the baby was born.
