NFL star Jason Kelce makes surprise guest cameo appearance on Jeopardy!

Former NFL star Jason Kelce made a surprise guest cameo apperance during Jeopardy! as he delivered a clue referenced No. 1 Billboard hit with Travis Kelce .

On September 17th, three players were brought onstage to test out their trivia knowledge as they were quizzed in a variety of categories ranging from historical decisions to mythological bromances. The contestants competing during the Tuesday evening episode included Will Yancey, a lecturer of history from Banquete, Texas, Alisa Kindsfater, an English teacher from Enola, Arkansas, and Aiden Orzech, a teacher from Thornhill, Ontario, Canada.

And much to the delight of Jeopardy! fans everywhere, the former Philadelphia Eagles player made an unexpected appearance on the gameshow as he read off a clue in the 'Philadelphia' category. For the challenging trivia question, the 36-year-old retired athlete said: "In 2023, my brother Travis and I had our first of what I can only assume will be many Billboard No. 1 hits with 'Fairytale Of Philadelphia' including the line, 'You promised me' this famous street "was waiting for me.'"

Will knew the answer with no hesitation as he hit the buzzer and correctly replied: "What is Broad Street?" and was awarded $1,000 points. This answer left Will in the lead after the first round of Jeopardy and brought up his total score to a whopping $12,000.

After Jason's guest apperance and a cut-throat round of Jeopardy! from the three talented contestants, fans took to social media raving over the episode. In a Reddit thread, one fan wrote: "Really liked all three of these contestants so much, and this was a fun show all around." And another added: "What a terrific game of Jeopardy! Well done Alisa, Aiden, and Will!" And a third replied: "this was probably my favorite game of the season so far."

And while many didn't expect Jason's guest apperance, this is not the first time the famed NFL star has been featured on an episode of Jeopardy. Back in May of this year, Jason was honored with his very own category in the Jeopardy! Masters’ finale titled 'The World Revolves Around Jason Kelce.'

During this pre-recorded cameo apperance, Jason hilariously deadpanned the lyrics to Salt-N-Pepa’s 'Push It' as he quizzed Jeopardy's brightest champions. For another clue, Jason also shared his love of being a dad to his three girls including his four-year-old daughter Wyatt Elizabeth, three-year-old Elliotte “Ellie” Ray, and one-year-old Bennett “Bennie” Llewellyn, whom he his wife, Kylie Kelce.
