General Hospital are intrigued by these two characters’ 'genuine chemistry' and they already have a ship name

Molly and Dex's interaction on General Hospital had fans intrigued by the romantic possibilities.

On Monday's episode of the ABC daytime drama , Molly was grabbing a drink alone at a bar. Dex appeared unexpectedly and it was a welcome surprise for Molly. He asked her how she was doing and Molly stated he was the first person to ask her that all day. Dex replied, wondering what was the answer and she said she's been better. Dex then made an observation that Molly looks like she could use some company and Molly agreed.

Dex went and sat next to Molly at the bar. They began their conversation and Molly explained how things have been hard, but it seems that's the new normal nowadays . She continued saying she may be selfish wanting a baby when the universe seemed to be sending her a message with her infidelity, miscarriage and now with her sister losing the baby. The conversation took an emotional turn when Molly started crying, thinking of all the firsts she wanted to do with her late baby.

Molly apologized for crying and Dex reassured her it was okay. He pivoted to asking her about her mom. They then dove into a convo about court, trial and testifying. Dex noted that the court and Molly's job seems to be her happy place. Molly said it was and how she's not being the best wife, daughter and sister right now. Dex defended her, saying if anyone thinks that you can show them the door. By the end of their talk, Molly admitted that she's the person she wants to be and stay away from the craziness.

Fans on social media watched the pair's scenes together and observed that they could be something. Some of them are hoping and predicting the show might that direction. One fan on X said: "For the most part I find Dex boring af. But I do see some chemistry with Molly.
